CHRISTMAS AT NEW HOPE… Christmas traditions bring a sense of comfort and peace during the holidays.  And we all could use a little more comfort and peace during 2022, right?  Well, you are invited to celebrate the season with us in some special ways.  This time every year we celebrate the amazing gift of our savior coming to this world.  We show generosity to our church, local community and through our global impact.  We sing Christmas songs, light candles and worship God for His amazing gift of forgiveness to us all.  You’re invited to join us for the events below…

Christmas Eve Service
Saturday December 24, 3:00pm & 5:00pm

Join us for a special Christmas tradition on December 24th. We will have two identical Christmas Eve gatherings at 3pm & 5pm. This is a family service so there is no childcare. New Hope K!DS will sing and there will be a story time for kids during the gathering. Be sure to invite your friends and family to celebrate our Savior’s coming during this candlelight service.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
No Gatherings on Dec. 25th or Jan. 1st

There are no Worship Gatherings Sunday Dec. 5th or Jan. 1st. We close our church offices the week between Christmas & New Year’s to allow our staff and volunteers to take a break during the holidays.  Enjoy the day with your family and have a safe New Year. We will see you again on Sunday January 8th.

December 2022

During this holiday season, take time to read and reflect on the coming of our savior by reading the gospel accounts.  Use the devotional method below for your personal time of study and prayer:

S.O.A.P. is a simple method for reading and applying God’s word to our lives.  It stands for Scripture, Observation, Application and Prayer and involves four simple steps:

  1. Scripture – Read a short Bible passage out loud and/or write it out. Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you as you read and look for any specific words or phrases that stand out and write them down.
  2. Observation – What do you notice about the verses? What do you think the main message is? What verses, words or ideas jump out to you?
  3. Application – Ask God how he wants you to apply the verse to your own life.  What do you need to do today because of the passage?  How do you need to think differently?
  4. Prayer – Have a list of things you’re asking God to do for you or others.  Start by thanking God for things then move to requests.

You can choose your own scripture or reading plan or use the one provided for this Series.

Giving stands at the heart of the gospel story. Our giving is simply a response to what God has already graciously given through His Son.

Our mission is to “help those who are broken find wholeness in Christ”.  It’s our desire to reach the nearly 78,000 people in Wayne County who do not regularly attend church and share the good news of the gospel. If you would like to partner with us in this mission, please click below to give.  Every gift makes a difference and we thank you in advance for your support and generosity.
