What does it really mean to live by faith? Is faith blind or can I see what God is up to in my life? We will be studying the people who were commended for living a life of faith in Hebrews chapter 11. Their stories will encourage us to live a life of true faith as we start a new year.

Are you looking for a place with real people who are pursuing a real God? Do you believe in God, but haven’t been a fan of church? You don’t just want answers, you want to experience something personal from God. At New Hope, we want you to experience JESUS without all the religion.

Join us each Sunday and experience God’s presence in your life as we worship and study the Bible together.  Come just as you are.

Regular Sunday Mornings Worship – 10:00am

January – March 2025

We encourage you to spend time during your week reading scripture and praying.  This is a tool to help you spend time with God during week. Would you make a commitment to do what Jesus did?

Luke 5:16 – But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.

If Jesus needed to spend that time with his Heavenly Father, we certainly need it too!  Take 10-20min each day with a journal, your Bible and a prayer list.  Put it on the calendar and make it a priority.

S.O.A.P. is a simple method for reading and applying God’s word to our lives.  It stands for Scripture, Observation, Application and Prayer and involves four simple steps:

  1. Scripture – Read a short Bible passage out loud and/or write it out. Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you as you read and look for any specific words or phrases that stand out and write them down.
  2. Observation – What do you notice about the verses? What do you think the main message is? What verses, words or ideas jump out to you?
  3. Application – Ask God how he wants you to apply the verse to your own life.  What do you need to do today because of the passage?  How do you need to think differently?
  4. Prayer – Have a list of things you’re asking God to do for you or others.  Start by thanking God for things then move to requests.

You can choose your own scripture or reading plan or use the one provided for our Series.
